Information, Communication and Technology Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo has announced plans to strengthen government oversight of TikTok as part of broader efforts to improve online safety.
Speaking at the TikTok Safer Internet Summit 2026, held from March 10 to March 11, Kabogo said the government is developing new measures to protect users, enhance cybersecurity, and promote responsible digital behavior.
