He referenced his parents, wife, children, and extended family, asking that they be protected from suffering.
One of the posts appeared to take the form of a prayer, in which he referred to the moment as his “last breakfast” and asked that his parents not cry.
He also mentioned his sisters’ children and other dependents, stating that they relied on him. In the same message, he denied ever wronging anyone and claimed that many of his friends had gone against him.
Kiplugui Moita also addressed speculation surrounding his Facebook account, stating that the account was genuine and not operated by another person.
He signed off the message with a farewell and appealed to named individuals to take care of his family.
In a separate post, he stated that he believed he would die and asked that the message be shared with his friends and parents.
He included instructions regarding burial, requesting that his body be buried within 24 hours if found. He also reiterated claims of personal struggle and isolation and ended the message with a farewell.
