A man surrendered to police shortly after killing a woman with an arrow in Kinyach village, Baringo County.
According to authorities, the suspect claimed the attack was retaliation after the deceased allegedly mistreated his pregnant wife during childbirth.
Police say he used a potentially poisonous arrow, striking the woman in the chest, and she died on the spot on February 3, 2026.
When surrendering, the man was reportedly armed with a bow and three arrows. Police collected the body and took it to the mortuary for autopsy.
