Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Chairperson Gladys Wanga has dismissed internal dissent after party Secretary‑General Edwin Sifuna publicly spoke against the party’s direction, saying the movement “cannot move forward” if its SG contradicts official policy.
Wanga spoke on Thursday, standing by ODM’s ongoing engagement in President William Ruto’s broad‑based government, a pact initiated under the leadership of the late Raila Odinga and formalised in a ten‑point memorandum of understanding. She also revealed ODM new secretary general to replace sifuna.
